Top champions · nightly leaderboard
Our mutation engine surfaces top champions every night. Anyone can post a leaderboard of winners — we put each one's gaudy backtest next to its out-of-sample result and its deflated Sharpe, and label it REAL, WATCH, or LUCK.
Flawless — and meaningless. It's the best of a large population measured on a single day. Three coin flips come up heads ~12% of the time; in a population of hundreds, dozens look perfect by luck. The only test it can pass: freeze it and run it forward on hundreds of unseen days. That frozen-forward verdict is the column that matters here — not the backtest.
