No single strategy is good at everything. We run an array of 100 specialists and a regime router that reads each market's character and deploys only the bots built for it — across all 36 Lucid contracts.
Step 1 — the specialists
Buys dips in uptrends, sells pops in downtrends. trending
Donchian channel breaks. expansion / high-vol
Fades Bollinger extremes to the mean. range / chop
Fades oversold/overbought & VWAP over-extension. range days
Trades the open break & reverses stop-runs. reversals
Rides bursts & breakouts from compression. volatility
Step 2 — detection
Every bar is tagged trend {up/down/flat} × volatility {low/mid/high}. A market is always in one of nine states.
We profile every contract's personality — Silver lives near 42% vol, the dollar near 4%. The router treats them differently.
A bot only gets a (class, regime) cell if its edge held on training and a separate validation window.
Step 3 — the live router
The router's regime detection is real. In a 2026 window it showed +$579/day — but across a different 2-year era it didn't hold, so we label it research, not an edge. What did hold across eras: trend strategies in high-volatility regimes — the same effect behind our proven books.
